Schedule Of Day Three Thailand Open: Eight Indonesian Representatives Fight For The Quarter-finals
JAKARTA - Yonex Thailand Open will play a round of 16 match on the third day of this Thursday. Eight Indonesian representatives will fight for tickets to the quarter-finals.
In the last 16 which started at 9.00 WIB at Impact Arena, Bangkok, Indonesia only lost representatives from the women's singles sector after Gregoria Mariska Tunjung and Ruselli Hartawan were eliminated in matches played respectively on Monday and Tuesday.
Meanwhile, in the men's singles sector, Indonesia still has a complete representative. Thai player Kunvalut Vitidsarn has been waiting for Anthony Sinisuka Ginting, while Jonatan Christie will face Canadian representative Jason Anthony Ho-shue.
Another representative, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, will face a tough test because the second seed from Chinese Taipei, Chou Tien Chen, has been waiting for him.
From the men's doubles number, the second seed Mohammad Ahsan / Hendra Setiawan will fight Satwiksairaj Rankireddy / Chirag Shetty. In head to head terms, the two players have met three times in the international arena, with two wins belonging to Ahsan / Hendra.
Civil war between men's doubles will be presented again in the last 16. Fifth seed Fajar Alfian / Muhammad Rian Ardianto will fight over tickets for the quarter-finals with their junior, Leo Rolly Carnando / Daniel Martin.
Praveen Jordan / Melati Daeva Oktavianti, the second seed in the mixed doubles, will face non-seed Supak Jomkoh / Supissara Paewsampran.
