JAKARTA - The trial for the case of alleged gratification of the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa arrangement with the defendant Andi Irfan Jaya has been decided to be postponed. Originally, the trial for reading the verdict (verdict) would be held today.
Andi Irfan Jaya's lawyer, M. Nur Saleh, said the clinical trial was postponed until next week. However, the reason behind the postponement decision is unknown.
"Yes, it will be postponed to Monday, January 18," Saleh told VOI, Wednesday, January 13.
Saleh only received information about the postponement after coordinating with the panel of judges. This information will be forwarded to Andi Irfan Jaya.
"I don't know (the reason for the delay). Earlier the judge postponed it to Monday," he said.
Based on the Central Jakarta District Court Case Tracking Information System (SIPP) website, a trial with a verdict or verdict agenda with the defendant Andi Irfan Jaya in the Supreme Court (MA) fatwa processing case is scheduled for Wednesday, January 13.
Previously, the Public Prosecutor (JPU) charged the defendant Andi Irfan Jaya with imprisonment for 2 years and 6 months in prison. Andi Irfan Jaya was also required to pay a fine of Rp. 100 million, a subsidiary of 4 months in prison.
In this case, Andi Irfan Jaya was charged with brokering bribes given to Bank Bali convicts Djoko Soegiarto Tjandra or Djoko Tjandra to Pinangki Sirna Malasari. The bribe given by Djoko Tjandra was USD 500 thousand.
The money was received by Andi Irfan Jaya to help Pinangki Sirna Malasari take care of the fatwa at the Supreme Court (MA).
