Supeno also commented on the discovery of the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) from the Sriwijaya plane his son was carrying. He said, this discovery is expected to shed light on the cause of the accident.

"Hopefully later the problem will be revealed. What is the pilot, what is the matter about the plane. Everything can be revealed, the causes and possibilities can be clear," he said.

"So, in the future there will be no more incidents like this again. That's my hope. Same time I gathered at the KNKT, so is my hope," added Supeno.
