Sriwijaya SJ-182 Aircraft Crew Identified, Okky Bisma's Family: God Willing, Syahid
JAKARTA - The family of a Sriwijaya Air flight crew with flight number SJ-182 which crashed in the waters of the Thousand Islands, Okky Bisma returned to the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta.
They came to confirm that they would immediately retrieve Okky's body, which had been identified by the National Police's Disaster Victim Identification (DVI) Team on Monday, January 11.
"(Coming, red) wants to confirm (bringing the body, red)," said Okky's father, Supeno Hendi Kuswanto when met at the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, East Jakarta, Wednesday, January 13.
The plan is for him to bring his son's body on Thursday, January 14th and will immediately bury him in a cemetery in Balekambang, Condet or near Okky's residence. This decision was made after he had waited for two days and hoped that his son's body could be found in its entirety.
"Indeed, I gave two days to perhaps add to the evacuation team. Actually, before two days it could be brought, but there is a suggestion from here (Polri Hospital, red) that maybe there are additional, yes, I told you to give two days and now it's already two days. , "he said.
Even though sadness appeared on Supeno's face, however, he had let his son become one of the crew of the unlucky plane. "Just pray, hopefully a martyr," he said.
In addition, he also remembers his son as a good person. Because, until now he still receives condolences and prayers for Okky. In fact, he claimed to have received hundreds of thousands of short messages in the form of prayers from his cellphone.
"This is almost over 100,000 who are praying for and still not stopped, even abroad, thank God," he said.
Supeno also commented on the discovery of the Flight Data Recorder (FDR) from the Sriwijaya plane his son was carrying. He said, this discovery is expected to shed light on the cause of the accident.
"Hopefully later the problem will be revealed. What is the pilot, what is the matter about the plane. Everything can be revealed, the causes and possibilities can be clear," he said.
"So, in the future there will be no more incidents like this again. That's my hope. Same time I gathered at the KNKT, so is my hope," added Supeno.
It is known, this identification process has also yielded results. Until the fourth day yesterday, four passengers had identified their identities and two of them were crews from Sriwijaya Air.
The two crews are Okky Bisma who is the flight attendent or steward of the unlucky plane and Fadly Satrianto who is an extra crew.
While the other two were passengers, namely Khasanah and Asy Habul Yamin.
Previously, the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane on the Jakarta-Pontianak route had lost contact in the Thousand Islands shortly after taking off from Soekarno Hatta Airport on Saturday, January 9, 2020. Furthermore, the authorities provided certainty if the plane crashed in the vicinity of Laki and Pulau Lancang, Thousand Islands.
In total, the plane carried 62 people, including 12 crew members and 50 passengers consisting of 40 adult passengers, seven children and three babies.
