Greysia / Apriyani Advance To Round Two Of Thailand Open

JAKARTA - Indonesian women's doubles Greysia Polii / Apriyani Rahayu advanced to the second round of Thailand Open 2021 after defeating Canadian pair Rachel Honderich / Kristen Tsai at Impact Arena, Bangkok, Wednesday.

In the first round match that lasted 41 minutes, Greysia / Apriyani won two straight games over Honderich / Tsai with a score of 21-12, 21-11, as quoted by Antara from BWF.

The Canadian representative does not seem like a big obstacle for Greysia / Apriyani, who is the fifth seed in the badminton tournament at the Super 1000 level.

In the first game, even though Honderich / Tsai had a chance to fight back at the start of the game, Greysia / Apriyani was able to deal with it well, resulting in points. After the position drew 8-8, the Garuda representative continued to lead and lead with a score of 21-12.

Entering the second game, the game became easier for Greysia / Apriyani. They were able to dominate from start to finish and again picked up a 21-11 victory over the Canadian pair.
