Pak Ogah, The Beating Of Indonesian Navy Members In Cilandak Has Been Arrested By The South Jakarta Police
JAKARTA - A member of the Indonesian Navy is suspected of being a victim of persecution at the intersection of the Pondok Labu DDN Complex, Cilandak, South Jakarta. It is suspected that the perpetrators of the beating were a gang of teenagers who used to manage vehicles at the intersection or commonly called "Pak Ogah" with the initials R alias B.
Head of the Indonesian Navy Information Service (Kadispenal) First Admiral Julius Widjojono said the incident occurred on Wednesday, March 22, if it was 17.00 WIB.
"There have been acts of violence and abuse carried out by the alleged perpetrator with the initials R alias B (Pak Ogah Street)," said Julius in his statement seen on Friday, March 24.
Based on information, said Julius, the incident began when members of the Indonesian Navy were about to cross the intersection with quite a lot of traffic conditions. However, the alleged perpetrator closed the road until there was a dispute and persecution.
As a result of the abuse, the victim suffered injuries to the mouth.
"R alias B closed the road so that there was a dispute that caused violence or persecution. The victim was injured in the mouth," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the South Jakarta Metro Police, Kompol Irwandhy Idrus, confirmed the incident. The perpetrator has been arrested by the police.
"It is true that the beating and the perpetrator has been arrested, the perpetrator of the initials R alias B, is currently still being processed at the South Jakarta Metro Police," he concluded.
