National Police Chief Idham Azis: I Am The First Person To Receive The COVID-19 Vaccine From The Police
JAKARTA - National Police Chief General Idham Azis confirmed that he would be the first person to be injected with the COVID-19 vaccine in the national vaccination program which symbolically begins at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.
"I was the first person in the National Police to receive the COVID-19 vaccine," he said, Wednesday, January 13.
On this occasion the National Police Chief also appealed to the public to participate in the success of this vaccination program.
"I want the entire National Police and also the public to take part in this vaccination and not be afraid so that we all get out of the danger of COVID-19," he said.
During this activity, the TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Tjahjanto also appeared who expressed his readiness to be vaccinated for COVID-19, as well as several high-ranking state officials and representatives of certain agencies.
Meanwhile, the first person to receive the vaccine in this national program is President Joko Widodo. According to VOI's monitoring from the online broadcast of the Presidential Secretariat, the head of state undergoes the vaccination process in about 10 minutes.
Jokowi is known to have received the Sinovac COVID-19 vaccine. This was discovered after medical officers showed the media crew just before the injection of the vaccine.
Meanwhile, the medical officers who administer the vaccine injection are Prof. Dr. Abdul Muthalib who is the Vice Chairman of the Presidential Medical Team.
In this vaccination process, President Joko Widodo had to go through four medical stages. First is registration and data verification. Second, screening medical history, then the injection stage, and the last stage is the monitoring stage for 30 minutes after injection to determine the effect of vaccine administration.
According to editorial monitoring, after the vaccination process President Joko Widodo appears to be doing his normal activities as usual.
