Kawasaki Seriously Releases Hydrogen Fueled Motorcycle

JAKARTA - Kawasaki, a well-known motorcycle manufacturer from Japan, is reported to have just proposed a new trademark for a hydrogen-fueled motorcycle with the name "HySE" and its logo. This news first appeared on bentetts.co.uk in early March.

This Kawasaki hydrogen motorcycle project, as reported by the cycleworld, March 16, has been going on for the last few years whose concept was shown at the end of 2021. At that time, Kawasaki called its motor with the first prototype engine, the four supercharged cylinders derived from H2 motors. And the electric and hydrogen-fueled motors under development will have performance that is not inferior to pre-existing fossil fuel-powered motors.

The hydrogen fuel system in the Kawasaki engine appears similar, or even identical, to what Toyota makes for its hydrogen-fueled car infrastructure. In the sense of Kawasaki, it will design hydrogen tanks that can be exchanged to power or power vehicles.

To be known as fellow Japanese companies, both Kawasaki and Yamaha are also reportedly working with Toyota, Subaru, and Mazda in the development of hydrogen-fuel combustion engine technology.

For now, there is no latest information from Kawasaki regarding this, but with the submission of a new brand, it is estimated that the hydrogen-fueled Kawasaki motorbike will launch in 2026.
