PDIP Politician Ribka Tjiptaning: I Do Not Want To Be Vaccinated Against COVID-19, If Sanctions Are Rp. 5 Million, I Will Pay
JAKARTA - Members of the House of Representatives Commission IX from the PDI-P Faction (PDIP Ribka Tjiptaning emphasized that they reject the COVID-19 vaccine. Mbak Ning, as she is called, prefers to pay a fine if sanctioned for refusing the COVID-19 vaccination.)
"The second issue is vaccines, I still don't want to be vaccinated. I still don't want to be vaccinated, I want to be vaccinated for up to 63 years, I am 63. In Jakarta, all my children and grandchildren get a penalty of Rp. 5 million, so I better pay, sell, sell cars, grandpa. How does Bio Farma still say that it hasn't been a third clinical trial and so on, "said Ribka Tjiptaning in a DPR Commission IX working meeting with Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Head of BPOM and Managing Director of Bio Farma which was broadcast via YouTube DPR RI, Tuesday, January 12.
Not without reason, this PDIP politician Mbak Ning refuses the COVID-19 vaccination. Ribka Tjiptaning has experience with other vaccines that have brought disadvantages.
“My experience is the minister's brother, I will speak again at the meeting, the polio vaccine has even paralyzed it in Sukabumi. Then the anti-elephant leg in Majalaya died 12, because in India it was rejected, in Africa it was rejected. I entered Indonesia Rp. 1.3 trillion when I was chairman of the commission. I really remember that, don't mess with vaccines, I refuse vaccines, if forced to do human rights, it violates human rights. You can't force that, "said Ribka firmly in front of the Minister of Health.
In addition, Ribka Tjiptaning questioned the type of COVID-19 vaccine that would be free for the Indonesian people.
"I asked which one do all these people want to make free? There are 5 kinds of money, Rp. 584 thousand, Rp. 292 thousand, Rp. 116 thousand, Rp. 540 thousand to Rp. 80 thousand, Rp. 2.1 million, "said Ribka.
"The problem is rapid, just swab problem, I said Bu Penny (Penny Lukito Head of BPOM, red) does not have the highest retail," he continued.
Vaccination for COVID-19 Starting TomorrowThe Ministry of Health confirmed that the vaccination process will be carried out starting tomorrow. In the first phase, the vaccine will be injected to all health workers in the country, with a total of 1.48 million people.
Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin said that the first stage of vaccination must be given to health workers. This is because they are most likely to be exposed to the virus when treating positive patients with COVID-19.
"This stage can start tomorrow this Sunday, then rolling. Hopefully by the end of February this can be completed. All over the world, why is this stage given to health workers? Because the criteria are given to people who are at high risk of exposure," he said at a meeting. work with Commission IX DPR, Tuesday, January 12.
After the first phase is complete, said Budi, the next person who will get the vaccine injection is a public officer. Where, this public officer is a person whose daily duties meet many people.
"We will give it to 17.4 million public officers. Now this is somewhat different from many other countries, because most other countries put the elderly first and then public officials with the same reason. Not economic reasons, not political reasons, not social reasons but more to humanitarian reasons, "he said.
However, said Budi, the elderly were placed in number 2B. This means that this group will only get an injection of the COVID-19 vaccine after public officials have finished being vaccinated. The reason is because there is an age limit, which is only 59 years old. The target of the elderly who will receive the vaccine is 21.5 million people.
