Beautification Of Lenteng Agung Horseshoe Flyover Completed, Beautiful Colorful Roofs Of Residents' Houses

JAKARTA - The beautification program for the horseshoe flyover area of Lenteng Agung, South Jakarta has been completed. The painting of the roofs of residents' houses since December 2, 2020, has been completed.

Head of Lenteng Agung Urban Village, Bayu Pasca Sungkono, said that a total of 218 houses in the RW, 01.02.03 and 05 areas have their roofs decorated with colorful paints. Currently, his party is waiting for an evaluation from the Jakarta Arts Council (DKJ) regarding the results of the drawing whether it still needs improvement or not.

"The painting of 218 roofs of residents' houses is 100 percent complete," said Bayu as quoted from a press release from Jakarta PPID, Tuesday, January 12.

Bayu said the process of painting the roofs of residents' houses involved 30 PPSU officers in collaboration with the DKJ mural community as consultants and advocates for visual directions.

"With the painting finished, this area now looks beautiful and can be seen from the Lenteng Agung flyover," he said.

Previously, DKI Pemprov had four underpass and flyover construction projects. The four projects are the Lenteng Agung flyover, the Tanjung Barat flyover, the Cakung flyover and the four Senen underpass projects, Central Jakarta.
