The Problem Of Calling Players To The National Team Turns Out To Make Shin Tae-yong Stressed
JAKARTA - The coach of the Indonesian national team, Shin Tae-yong, has called a number of players to join the joint training camp (TC) between the senior team and U-20. However, from that summons, not all players have been able to join.
"We have already summoned the players, especially since this is FIFA Matchday, but currently there are still players who cannot be called," said Shin Tae-yong when met on the sidelines of the PSSI event at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta on Monday, March 20.
Responding to this situation, Shin then asked the club for help so that the players would give up their employees to be able to join the country immediately.
The South Korean coach no longer wants problems about calling players to stress him.
"I ask for help so that it doesn't happen again like that (it's difficult to let the players go to the national team), to coach Indra (Sjafri), I ask for help in better coordination with the club so that I don't stress," said Shin Tae-yong, laughing casually.
The unrest expressed by the coach reflects on the situation that had occurred before appearing in the U-20 Asian Cup in Uzbekistan. At that time there were players who were detained by the club and made the preparation situation not optimal.
"From now on I have really asked all clubs for help in order to release the players to the U-20 national team so that the TC situation does not happen again as before leaving for Uzbekistan," he said.
Please note, the senior national team and U-20 are currently undergoing a joint training camp at the PTIK Stadium, Jakarta. In total there are 57 names that should have participated in TC this time.
