Congratulations, Film Like & Share Achieves Grand Prix At Osaka Asian Film Festival

JAKARTA - Gina S. Noer's latest film, Like & Share received a Grand Prix award at the Osaka Asian Film Festival on Sunday, March 19. The film, which was released in December 2022, received a positive response internationally.

"We judges are very impressed with strong and clear messages from films that confirm the sexual curiosity of a woman while rejecting sexual violence. The storytelling style of this film is also original," the jury said in a statement.

The sweet feeling of an audience in the first part of the film went dark as the story progressed, making us vibrate. 'Like & Share' with a strong message and brilliant direction makes this film have to be watched,' they continued.

Gina S. Noer as the director revealed this film telling how someone can deal with trauma.

This film talks about how we deal with trauma and sexual violence. It's not something that's easy to talk about and not easy to make, but I think if we believe something important, it will get to the right audience," said Gina S. Noer.

In addition, several directors and films received appreciation for this award. Kai Ko received the Most Promising Talent award for his directorial debut, Bad Education.

Like & Share is the third film for Gina S. Noer, starring Aurora Ribero and Arawinda Kirana. In addition, this film stars Kevin Julio, Aulia Sarah, Jerome Kurnia, Unique Priscilla, and many others.

Like & Share tells the story of Lisa (Aurora Ribero) and Sarah (Arawinda Kirana), two friends who promise to always be there for each other. Once upon a time, the presence of Fita (Aulia Sarah) became a change in life.

On the other hand, the film Like & Share will be released on Netflix globally starting April 27.
