David Ozora's Family Firmly Rejects Restorative Justice In Mario Dandy's Case: No Peaceful Words
JAKARTA - David Ozora's family representative, Alto Luger responded to Restorative Justice (RJ) opportunities for perpetrators of severe abuse Mario Dandy, Shane and AG. He emphasized that there was no peace in the case of violence.
"Our response is clear that there is no peace. Just imagine if your child or your brother were that old and in such condition until the fifth week still in the ICU. Where is there a peace with the perpetrator," said Alto when confirmed, Monday, March 20.
According to Alto, what Mario Dandy has done to David Ozora could result in the victim's death. Because of that, the family insisted on refusing restorative justice.
The attack carried out by the perpetrator attacked points that actually had the potential to be deadly. It can be seen during the reconstruction that there were no other attacks. For example, to the chest, stomach, or to the genitals, right. Everything is only directed at how many kicks, punches, everything in one area, namely the neck and head," he said.
The DKI Jakarta High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati) has clarified the option of restorative justice (RJ) against the perpetrators of AG's child in the case of severe abuse against David Ozora (17).
According to him, the clarification of RJ's offer to the perpetrators of AG's child is needed in detailing the statement made by the Head of the DKI Jakarta Attorney General's Office, Reda Manthovanani after visiting David Ozora at Mayapada Hospital on Thursday, March 16.
The statement of Kajati DKI Jakarta provides an opportunity to offer diversion to AG Children who are in conflict with the law solely considering the future of children as stipulated in the Child Protection Law, Head of the Legal Information Section (Kasipenkum) of the DKI Attorney General's Office, Ade Sofyansah, in his statement, Friday, March 17.
