Officers Dismantle MCK And Illegal Buildings That Stand On Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept.
JAKARTA - Public facilities for toilets (MCK) belonging to residents on Jalan Kramat Pulo Dalam, RT 09/06, Kramat Village, Senen District, Central Jakarta, were demolished by joint officers, Monday, March 20. The demolition was carried out because the building was in a restricted area.
In addition to dismantling the MCK, officers also brought order to a number of other illegal buildings that had been established for 15 years.
"Today we are securing assets that are used as residences and toilets," said Kramat Village Head, Agus Yachya, Monday, March 20.
Agus said the location that was put under control was land owned by the Central Jakarta Environmental Service. Hundreds of joint officers from various regional work units (UKPD) were deployed.
"There are 150 officers consisting of Central Jakarta LH Sub-dept., Water Resources (SDA), PPSU, Polri and TNI deployed," he said.
Agus Yachya said that later this location would be built independently according to residents' requests. Hidran development because the location is considered densely populated and as a form of fire anticipation.
"Here it is quite densely populated, so residents ask the government to build hydrants," he said.
