LAMPUNG - The Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion (Kanwil Kemenag) Lampung said there were no restrictions on congregants for the implementation of Tarawih prayers in the holy month of Ramadan.
"So far there is no longer a policy for restrictions on the implementation of Tarawih prayers in the holy month of Ramadan, so Muslims can carry it out normally," said Head of the Lampung Regional Office of the Ministry of Religion Puji Raharjo, in Bandar Lampung, Monday, March 20, as reported by Antara.
However, Puji said that people who want to perform Tarawih prayers in congregation in the mosque still have to pay attention to their respective health.
"Yes, this health is also important to pay attention to. Whether there is a pandemic or not, health must be maintained," he also said.
Then, he said again, for the beginning of the Tarawih Prayer, of course, the public must wait for the isbat session which will be held nationally in the near future.
"In Lampung, monitoring the hilal for the beginning of Ramadan is carried out in two places, namely Itera and Canti Beach, South Lampung Regency," he added.
The Head of Regional Office of the Lampung Ministry of Religion appealed to Muslims to make this momentum for Ramadan to improve the quality of faith and piety.
"I invite all people to increase worship in Ramadan starting from fasting, then also preaching and learning religion, then social awareness is also increased and sharing with the smallest scope," he said again.

"At the Al Furqon Mosque, Tarawih prayers have returned to normal considering the situation is relatively normal. But the congregation must also maintain cleanliness and health, if they are sick or not fit, they should just pray at home," he concluded.
