The Special Criminal Investigator of the West Nusa Tenggara High Prosecutor's Office (Kejati NTB) has completed the case of a prosecutor with the initials EP who promised the victim to pass the recruitment process for prospective state civil servants (CASN).The Head of the NTB Prosecutor's Office, Nanang Ibrahim Soleh, explained that this case was completed at the investigation stage after his party handed over the EP suspect and evidence or phase two to the Mataram District Prosecutor."So, today our investigators have carried out phase two against the suspect with the initials EP in the case of abuse of position authority by giving promises to several people to enter as civil servants," Nanang said at a press conference in Mataram, Antara, Monday, March 20.As a suspect, he explained, investigators apply criminal charges Article 11 and/or Article 12e of Law Number 31 of 1999 concerning the Eradication of Criminal Acts of Corruption as amended by Law no. 20 of 2001.Nanang said that the victims as a result of the EP suspect's actions were nine people with a total loss of Rp765 million."The victims are from West Lombok, East Lombok, and Dompu. They are given (money) gradually, some are Rp. 100 million, there are Rp. 60 million to a total of Rp. 765 million from nine victims," he said.He said that the EP suspect committed acts of abuse of authority as a functional prosecutor for the period 2020-2021."The method is to promise the victim to pass CASN at the prosecutor's office and the Ministry of Law and Human Rights," said Nanang.
