Sah, Starting Today, Electric Motor Subsidy Is IDR 7 Million Liquid

JAKARTA - Starting today, March 20 to December 2023, the government will provide assistance or subsidies for the purchase of electric vehicles, both cars and motorbikes.

Specifically for motorbikes, the subsidies provided for electric motorcycles are IDR 7 million. The subsidies are only given to buyers who meet the requirements from the quota of 200 thousand new electric motorcycles and 50 thousand conversions of electric motorcycles.

Then, several conditions for consumers to be able to get this subsidy are mainly MSME players, KUR recipients (People's Business Credit), Banpres Productive Micro Enterprises (BPUM), and electricity customers from 450 watts to 900 watts.

Previously, the Ministry of Industry had required 40 percent TKDN for motors and electric cars that received assistance from the government.

For motorcycles based on VOI monitoring, there have been 6 electric motorcycle manufacturers that have received at least 40 percent Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certification, namely Selis, Gesits, Volta, Smoot, United, and Viar.

Well, to get a motorbike unit, consumers who feel eligible just come to the electric motor showroom above. If you meet the criteria, you can immediately get a subsidy. And please note, subsidies only apply to one motorbike and one buyer's name.
