Wow, The Tariff For Several Trans Java Toll Roads Will Increase
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk in the near future will implement toll tariff adjustments on the Palimanan-Kanci (Palikanci) Toll Road, Semarang Sections A, B, C and Surabaya-Gempol (Surgem). This Trans Java toll tariff adjustment is in accordance with the decision of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing, Basuki Hadimuljono.
The Kepmen PUPR referred to is No.1403 / KPTS / M / 2020 concerning Tariff Adjustments on the Palimanan-Kanci Toll Road, Kepmen PUPR No.1228 / KPTS / M / 2020 concerning Tariff Adjustments on Semarang Toll Road Sections A, B, C, and Kepmen PUPR No.1117 / KPTS / M / 2020 concerning Tariff Adjustments on the Surabaya-Gempol Toll Road.
Toll tariff adjustments have also been regulated in article 48 paragraph (3) of Law (UU) Number 38 of 2004 concerning Roads and article 68 paragraph (1) of Government Regulation (PP) Number 15 of 2005 concerning Toll Roads, as amended several times. lastly with PP Number 30 of 2017 concerning the third amendment to PP Number 15 of 2005 concerning Toll Roads.
Corporate Communication and Community Development Group Head of PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk Dwimawan Heru Santoso said, based on this regulation, the evaluation and adjustment of toll rates is carried out every two years based on the influence of the inflation rate.
On the basis of these regulations, said Heru, in the near future the Palikanci Toll Road, Semarang Sections A, B, C, and Surgem will experience a change in the amount of tariffs. First, the adjustment of the Palimanan-Kanci toll tariff, namely Gol I, which was originally Rp. 12,000 to Rp. 12,500.
Then, Gol II saw an increase of IDR 3,000 from the previous IDR 15,000 to IDR 18,000. Conversely, Gol III experienced a reduction in tariffs from Rp. 21,000 to Rp. 18,000. While,
Gol IV starts from IDR 27,000 to IDR 30,000 and Gol V initially decreases to IDR 32,000 to IDR 30,000.
Second, the adjustment of toll road tariffs for Semarang Sections A, B, C, namely Gol I, initially is Rp.5,000 to Rp.5,500. Then, Gol II goes from Rp. 7,500 to Rp. 8,000. Similar to Gol II, Gol III also experienced a tariff adjustment from IDR 7,500 to IDR 8,000. Then, Gol IV is initially IDR 10,000 to IDR 10,500 and Gol V starts from IDR 10,000 to IDR 10,500.
Third, the adjustment of the toll road tariff for the Surabaya-Gempol open system (Dupak-Waru), namely Gol I Rp. 3,500 to Rp. 5,000. Gol II starts from IDR 4,500 to IDR 8,000, Gol III previously IDR 6,000 to IDR 8,000, Gol IV from IDR 7,500 to IDR 10,500 and Gol V initially IDR 9,000 to IDR 10,500.
Meanwhile, the closed system (Waru-Porong) changes the rates, namely Gol I from IDR 4,500 to IDR 9,000, Gol II IDR 6,000 to IDR 14,000, Gol III IDR 9,500 to IDR 14,000, and Gol IV from IDR 12,000 to IDR 18. 500. Meanwhile, Gol V was initially charged at IDR 14,000 to IDR 18,500.
Then, the open system (Kejapanan-Gempol), namely Gol I, has no increase from Rp. 3,000, but still at Rp. 3,000. Meanwhile, Gol II from Rp. 4,500 to Rp. 5,000. Then, Gol III initially increases Rp. 4,500 to Rp. 5,000, Gol IV starts from Rp. 6,000 to Rp. 6,500 and Gol V starts from Rp. 6,000 to Rp. 6,500.
"This tariff adjustment is needed to ensure a conducive toll road investment climate, maintain the confidence of investors and market players in the prospective toll road industry in Indonesia, and ensure the level of service of toll road managers remains in accordance with the Toll Road Minimum Service Standards (SPM)," he said.
Heru explained that the Palimanan-Kanci, Semarang Sections A, B, C, and Surabaya-Gempol Toll Roads are toll roads that play an important role in regional connectivity in Java Island. So that it can support the smooth transportation and distribution of logistics.

Service ImprovementThe service improvements in the transaction sector include increasing transaction capacity with the addition of an Oblique Approach Booth (OAB) or tilted substations, adding electronic top up facilities and adding a mobile reader unit at toll gates.
In the field of traffic services, Heru said, the managers are making efforts to add toll road facilities, installing CCTV speed cameras, building Over Dimension Over Load (ODOL) vehicle action locations and installing Weigh in Motion (WIM), optimizing control room facilities and installing GPS. on traffic service vehicles.
"Meanwhile, in terms of construction services, periodic repair and maintenance of toll roads have been carried out, pavement reconstruction to improve road quality, greening along toll roads, as well as painting markers and rejuvenating safety and guardrail signs," he explained.
To ensure that the public receives information on tariff adjustment on the intended segment properly, said Heru, massive toll road enterprises (BUJT) will also conduct socialization through various communication media.
"The socialization is carried out through print, online, electronic, social media, and outdoor media for the Variable Message Sign (VMS) banner," he said.
