The mutilation case shocked Bogor residents. Bogor Resort Police (Polres), West Java, found a corpse in a red suitcase.

Bogor Police Chief Adjunct Senior Commissioner Iman Imanuddin revealed that this case originated from the story of a same-sex or gay couple from the victim with the initials R (43).
"The suspect fought because he was asked to do a hand job by the victim. There was an argument, however, we are still investigating," said Iman when releasing the disclosure of the mutilation case at the Bogor Police Headquarters, Cibinong, Saturday, March 18, as reported by Antara.

Iman explained that the DA meeting with R started with the victim who often used the services of DA as an online taxi driver. "The perpetrator first got to know the victim because the victim ordered Grab, then the perpetrator as a Grab driver felt suitable and subscribed, then they lived together," explained Iman.
Then, suspects DA and R, who had lived together for about four months in an apartment in the Cisauk area, Tangerang Regency, got into an argument until DA finally killed R using a sharp weapon in the form of a kitchen knife.
Furthermore, DA made efforts to mutilate using a outlet cut. He separated the victim's body by cutting off the head and legs.
"Karena ada rasa ketakutan menghilangkan jatuhnya, kemudian tersangka menggunakan alat gerinda untuk memcut bagian kaki dan bagian kepalanya," kata Kapolres.
The DA suspect then threw pieces of the victim's head and legs along with a gerinda device into the Cimanceuri River, Tangerang. Meanwhile, the victim's body parts were put in a red suitcase and dumped in the Singabang Village area, Tenjo District, Bogor.

Previously, the head of the local RW, Dendi, explained that a suitcase measuring about 28 inch was found by a resident at around 07.30 WIB on Wednesday (15/3) on the side of the road in Singabang Village, Tenjo District, Bogor. In the suitcase there are pieces of a human body without a head and feet wrapped in black plastic.
"The chronology of the residents saw the suitcase, I don't know what it contained, he said it was opened and found a corpse dismembered. He was shocked, then reported it to the local RT. After that, RT reported to RW. I went to the location and it turned out to be crowded," said Dendi.
