JAKARTA - Starting this month, Social Assistance aka Bansos from the Government has been distributed. The assistance will be given to pregnant women to toddlers or early children 0-6 years.
Quoting the Instagram account @kemensosri, Tuesday, January 12, assistance for pregnant women and toddlers was donated through the Family Hope Program (PKH). The government has prepared a fund of IDR 28.7 trillion to distribute PKH assistance due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Pregnant women and early childhood will receive IDR 3 million each per year. In addition, the government will also provide assistance to school children, people with disabilities, and the elderly, through PKH assistance.
What are the conditions?Quoting the legitimate site pkh.kemensos.go.id, Tuesday, January 12, the classification of beneficiaries (KPM) should be registered and present at the nearest health and teaching facilities.
There are several provisions that must be owned by prospective KPM recipients in the health sector. Among other things, examination of the womb for pregnant women, providing nutrition, immunization, and weighing the bodies of toddlers and preschool children.
Meanwhile, some of the requirements for KPM in the teaching sector are registering and determining the attendance of PKH family members to teaching units according to the primary and secondary school levels. Then, for the social welfare section, people with disabilities and elderly people from 70 years old.
PKH assistance will later be given to some family groups. The details, for pregnant or postpartum women will receive assistance of Rp. 3 million per year, vulnerable children aged 0-6 years amounting to Rp. 3 million per year, teaching elementary school children Rp. 900 thousand per year, teaching junior high school children Rp. 1.5 million years, teaching High school children Rp. 2 million per year, persons with disabilities Rp. 2.4 million per year, and elderly people Rp. 2.4 million per year.
PKH is assisted with the aim of increasing the standard of living, reducing constraints, making changes in behavior and independence of KPM, reducing poverty, and increasing financial inclusion.
It is planned that the assistance will be given in four stages, namely in January, April, July and October 2021. The government will channel the funds through state-owned banks, namely PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero). Tbk or BRI, PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, and PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk or BTN.
