Seoul Mobility Show 2023: Future Vehicle Domination Environmentally Friendly

The Seoul Mobility Show 2023, South Korea's largest automotive exhibition will take place from March 30 to April 9 at the Kintex exhibition center in Goyang, Gyeonggi.

The former Seoul Motor Show exhibition will be attended by more than 160 companies from ten countries including SK Telecom, Hyundai Motor, Kia, Mercedes-Benz and Tesla. And some others such as GM, Volkswagen, Toyota, and Honda chose to miss this exhibition.

The show will showcase future industries such as electric vehicle conversion [EV], self-driving cars and future mobility technology, all aimed at achieving carbon neutrality with explosive growth worldwide, "said Kang Nam-hoon, head of organizers as well as president of the Korean Automotive Manufacturers Association (KAMA) during a press conference, quoted from koreanajoongangdaily, March 16.

Broadly speaking, this exhibition features more environmentally friendly future vehicles, such as electric cars, autonomous vehicles, and electric bicycles.

In addition, this exhibition also features the latest technology in autonomous cars, such as the level 4 autonomous driving system developed by GM Korea. This technology allows cars to drive on their own on toll roads and expressways.

Well, it is reported that Hyundai and Kia will showcase their newest products, Hyundai Ioniq 7 and Kia EV9. In particular, SsangYong Motor, which returns after three years, will launch Torres EVX. Meanwhile, US-based electric vehicle developer Alpha Motor, founded by Korean-Americans, will also debut at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show.
