'Masked' Police Arrested Police For Shooting 2 Makassar Teens With Arrows

MAKASSAR - Teams from the South Sulawesi Regional Police Resmob and the Biringkanaya Police Opsnal managed to arrest the attackers of 2 teenagers in Makassar. The police secured a number of arrows and machetes.

"(Evidence) 2 black catapults, 1 machete, 9 bow arrows," said Head of Sub-Directorate for Criminal Investigation of South Sulawesi Regional Police, Kompol Suprianto, to VOI, Tuesday, January 12.

The perpetrators who were arrested with the initials U (30), F (18), A (19), Ma (16) J (24), Am (25). The six of them were arrested based on the results of the development of members of the police regarding the identification of the attacker at one of the warkop on Jalan Sudiang.

The police immediately went to the location and arrested the perpetrator. Keenampelaku was brought to the South Sulawesi Regional Police Resmob.

Previously, two Makassar teenagers with the initials As (17) and Ad (18), were shot by arrows or commonly referred to as bows by a group of people.

"They wanted to go buy cigarettes, and suddenly a group of people attacked, and the names of the perpetrators had been pocketed," said South Sulawesi Regional Police Head of Sub-Directorate for Criminal Investigation, Kompol Suprianto, to reporters, Monday, January 11.

Meanwhile, the Head of Public Relations of the Makassar Police, Kompol Edy Supriyadi, said that the victim was injured due to the eviction.

According to witness testimony, Rega, there was a group of young men totaling approximately 13 people on foot using face and head coverings, carrying bows and protective shields, immediately releasing the bow to the victim.

Witnesses and victims fought back by throwing them at the perpetrators of the attack. However, two victims were hit by bows.
