Nomo Koeswoyo Buried This Afternoon In Block AAII TPU Jeruk Purut

JAKARTA - One of the legendary Indonesian drummers, Nomo Koeswoyo, died on Wednesday, at around 20.30 WIB, in Magelang, Central Java. The senior musician will be buried at Jeruk Purut TPU, South Jakarta, precisely in Block AAII, at around 12.00 WIB.

Currently, the burial location is still fairly quiet. However, tents in the tomb area have been prepared.

According to some information, the body is currently at the funeral home, at the Chicha Koeswoyo residence on Jalan Agricultural I No. 5, Lebak Bulus number, South Jakarta.

Please note, one of the Koes Brothers personnel breathed his last at the age of 85.

He was born in Tuban, East Java on January 21, 1938. Nomo is the last member of the Koeswoyo family to join the Koes Brothers group.

With the Koes Brothers, he has released many great works including May Cinta May Hate (1979), Glodok Plaza Biru (1980), Again You (1986), and many others.

Unfortunately, Nomo decided to solo career because Tonny died of cancer he suffered in 1987.

Until finally he spent a lot of his old age in the city of Magelang, Central Java with his youngest son, Reza, who is already married.
