PDIP Criticizes Bobby Nasution Seeing The 'Lampu Pocong' Program In Medan Not Clearing Up

JAKARTA - PDI Perjuangan (PDIP) criticized Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution regarding the Medan City Government program, North Sumatra. One of them is related to street lights which are familiarly called residents of Medan City 'potong light' as an embarrassing program."It is necessary for us as residents of Medan City. We are also very disappointed with the results we see, from the aim of beingautified by the city, why is it notautified, it seems as long as it is with such a large budget," said the chairman of the Medan PDI-P DPC Hasyim as quoted by Antara, Wednesday, March 15.Hasyim, who is also the chairman of the Medan City DPRD, will ask the relevant commission to hold a hearing (RDP) with the Medan City Water Resources, Highways, and Construction Agency. He said the work on the "pocong light" in the capital city of North Sumatra Province had not yet been completed, even though it had exceeded the time limit."I will ask the relevant commission to make an RDP agenda or work meeting related to the unfinished road light problem which is still neglected, even though it has been extended, but we found that there are still many that have not been completed," said Hasyim.Political observer and government of the University of North Sumatra (USU) Indra Fauzan gave his views on the attitude of the political party led by the Chairperson of the PDI-P Megawati Soekarnoputri."I see this as a political dynamic in the city of Medan. It seems that there is a'missing link' between PDIP and Mayor Bobby Nasution, which we know comes from PDIP as well. This PDIP critical attitude through the chairman of Hasyim makes the public wonder what is really going on with PDIP," said Fauzan. The lecturer at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (Fisipol) USU said there should be a better mechanism than having to talk in the media."I think it's better to talk about it internally in the party or through a political mechanism between the executive and the legislature, this of course creates an assumption that PDIP's internal non-harmony as Bobby's party," he said.Indra Fauzan said that from his knowledge, several opposition parties were recorded to support the Bobby Nasution program."The PDIP communication has been cut off, because it is actually the opposition that supports the Bobby Nasution program and the Medan City Government," said the alumnus of the neighboring country.Fauzan said, usually this political party actually puts up a body for its cadre program."What role does PDIP play today? Of the many characters of PDIP leaders, PDIP is always 'installed' related to the leadership program of its cadres. We can see this, yes in some areas," said Fauzan. In fact, he explained, the PDI-P in DKI Jakarta is now very much inversely proportional to the city of Medan."I think an internal discussion is needed within the PDIP itself. Pak Hasyim needs to convey also the location of the same problem with PDIP or maybe legislature. Good political communication needs to be built between the executive and the legislature," concluded Indra Fauzan.
