CES 2021 Samsung Showcases Handy Bot That Can Help Homework
JAKARTA - Samsung is developing a smart robot called Bot Handy. This is the latest robot arm designed to make homework easier. Later, this robot will fill houses in the future.
In recent years, the South Korean technology giant has made a number of robots for various purposes.
The Samsung Bot Handy is in the process of being developed, but this device has been shown at the 2021 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States.
This device uses sophisticated artificial intelligence (AI) technology to recognize objects based on shape, size and weight. The robot arm made by Samsung comes with an arm design that has the ability to pick up an object.
This robot "is an extension of the arm that helps you to complete the work in the area of the house," as quoted by Slashgear on Monday, January 11.
Samsung Bot Handy can be relied on to clean up after meals. The user will wash the dishes and place them on the rack to dry. This robot arm can also take each plate and place it in the cupboard without cracking or scratching the plate.
Samsung said that the Handy Bot "will be able to tell the difference in material composition of various objects, using the appropriate amount of force to place or move an item or object around the house."
However, it is not yet known when this robot from Samsung will be released to the public. The company also has not officially informed the price of this Handy Bot it makes. The following is a brief demonstration of the Handy Bot that Samsung will present to the public at CES 2021.
Samsung also displays the latest version of "Samsung Bot Care". This robot uses AI technology to recognize and respond to the behavior of its owner. Not only that, this robot also has the ability to learn daily schedules, habits, and can remind its owner if he forgot something.
