High Rainfall, 230 Personnel From The Tangerang PUPR Service Are Alerted To Overcome Potential Floods

He said field officers had been deployed overnight to locations that could potentially be flooded from the west, east and central regions. He also stated that the PUPR Service officers who were deployed also ensured that the water discharge heights at a number of watergates in safe heights and arranged the opening of floodgates in Tangerang City.
Officers also ensure the height of water safety that has the potential to overflow from the embankment if the rain discharge continues for a long time and ensures the activeness of water pumps in all pump houses. "Of course, the preparedness of hundreds of officers owned by the Tangerang City Government still requires public concern for their respective environments. In the midst of uncertain weather, it is better for the community to care more about activating cooperation in cleaning the environment, ensuring that the flow of sewers or environmental drainage runs smoothly, and ensuring good and proper waste processing," he said.
