Deadpool Joins The Marvel Cinematic Universe
JAKARTA - Good news for Deadpool lovers. The quirky character is confirmed to have joined the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Previously, Deadpool's future was on the verge of ending in Fox's hands. Disney then considered how to get Deadpool with an R rating to join the MCU labeled 'PG-13'.
Launching Collider today, Tuesday, January 12, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed Deadpool 3 will be part of the MCU.
"(Deadpool) is rated R and we're working on the script right now ... and Ryan (Reynolds) is doing the script right now," Feige said. They also have not started filming this year considering Ryan Reynolds, the main character is busy with a number of schedules.
Ryan Reynolds also confirmed this news through his Instagram upload on Monday, January 11.

The first and second installments of Deadpool won box office titles on release in 2016 and 2018. Given that filming has yet to take place, it looks like Deadpool 3 will not air until 2023.
