Pilot Assembly Asks Non-Speculative Flight People About The Fall Of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182

JAKARTA - The Indonesian Pilot Professional Association (PPPI) appealed to all levels of society and aviation personnel not to speculate about the cause of the downing of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 plane.

"Together we also appeal to all levels of society and fellow aviation personnel to be wiser and refrain from providing speculation, opinion and analysis of the causes of the disaster that befell SJ 182 to the public," said PPPI Chairman Rizki Budimansyah Juzar in an official statement at Jakarta was reported by Antara, Tuesday, January 12.

Rizki invites the public to support evacuation and investigation efforts to the authorities in order to provide the best results.

PPPI also expressed its appreciation to Basarnas, TNI, Polri, KNKT and Kemenhub for moving quickly to carry out the evacuation. Furthermore, each of these findings will be analyzed and investigated to reveal the cause of the plane crash.

He also advised the public to wait for the results of the official investigation issued by the NTSC.

"We always support both morally and technically to the authorities (KNKT) in disclosing the cause of the accident. Let us together support evacuation and investigation efforts to the authorities in order to provide the best results, "he said.

Rizki added that the public and aviation personnel should be able to respond to this disaster and avoid things that could injure the victim's family from the SJ 182 disaster.
