The Death Toll Of The Plumpang Depo Fire Incident Was Recorded At 23 People

JAKARTA - Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said that 23 people died in the fire incident at the fuel oil terminal (TBBM) or Plumpang Depo.

Nicke said the number was already among the victims who had received treatment at the hospital but could not be helped.

"For this data, the number of people who died is 23, we are grieving with this. Some are hospitalized but cannot be helped," he said in a meeting with Commission VI of the DPR, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta, Tuesday, March 14.

Currently, said Nicke, 23 victims are still being treated at the hospital. Meanwhile, 25 other victims have been allowed to go home.

"There is already going home, thank God, even during recovery, we will still back-up everything for medical costs," he said.

For information, the fire at the Pertamina Plumpang Depot hit on Friday, March 3 at 20.11 WIB.

The Pertamina gasoline pipe fire spread to a residence in Rawabadak Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta.

This incident claimed many lives and injured victims with various ages ranging from toddlers, children to adults.
