SOE Free Homecoming Program Launches Tomorrow, Quota 65,603 People
JAKARTA - The homecoming program with State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Lebaran 2023 will be launched tomorrow in Bandung, West Java.
The launch will be opened directly by SOE Minister Erick Thohir.
Erick said that this homecoming program is one of the efforts of SOEs to realize a real role in helping the poor who want to go home to their hometowns.
"Through going home with SOEs, we have transferred thousands of vehicle users, especially motorbikes, to public transportation modes such as buses, trains, and ships that meet transportation safety standards so that people can feel safe and comfortable homecoming," he said in Jakarta, Tuesday, March 14.
Erick said that the joint homecoming program, which was attended by 24 SOEs, would depart from various departure points, both at terminals, stations and ports.
Erick said, SOEs are preparing quotas for 65,603 travelers. There is a loss of modes for buses, trains, and ships.
"The joint homecoming program is our effort in helping people to go home safely and comfortably. It will also reduce congestion and the risk of accidents for travelers on the highway," he said.
Erick conveyed that this year's homecoming program with SOEs is led by PT Jasa Raharja.
The bus fleet from Jakarta will depart on April 18 from Ring Road Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Jakarta.
As for the rail transportation mode, continued Erick, it will depart from Pasar Senen Station on April 15 and 16, 2023.
"We will convey the mechanisms and registration requirements at the launch of the homecoming program with SOEs on Wednesday, March 15. We hope that the public can take advantage of this program to be able to go home safely and comfortably with their beloved family," said Erick.
