Citilink Launches Surabaya-Jeddah Flight Route
JAKARTA - Citilink Indonesia airline has again increased its international network by launching a new flight route from Juanda International Airport, Surabaya to King Abdul Aziz International Airport, Jeddah using a fleet of A330-900 NEO on February 9, 2020.
"The opening of the new Surabaya-Jeddah round trip route is the company's effort to increase its presence in the international arena. This flight is expected to be an alternative transportation choice for people who want to carry out the Umrah pilgrimage in the Holy Land, ”said Citilink Indonesia President Director Juliandra in a statement received by VOI, Monday, February 10.
This round-trip Surabaya-Jeddah route is the 11th international flight route owned by Citilink Indonesia after Citilink Indonesia previously launched an international flight route Denpasar-Melbourne (Avalon) round-trip, and Bandung-Kuala Lumpur round trip this year.
The Surabaya-Jeddah route for the initial stage operates once a week, namely on Sundays using an Airbus A330-900 NEO aircraft with a capacity of 365 passengers. Furthermore, in March 2020 this flight will operate three times a week.
This flight is scheduled to depart from Juanda International Airport at 16:00 local time and arrive at King Abdul Aziz International Airport at 22:40 local time with flight number QG 526.
Otherwise, this flight is scheduled to depart from King Abdul Aziz International Airport at 00:20 local time and arrive at Juanda International Airport at 15:50 local time with flight number QG 527.
