LPSK Rejects Application For AG Protection In Case Of Persecution David Ozora

JAKARTA - The Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) rejected the application for protection submitted by AG as the child perpetrator in the case of mistreatment of David Ozora. The decision was based on various considerations.

"It is rejected (a request for protection from AG, ed)," said Deputy Chairperson of LPSK Susilaningtyas to VOI, Tuesday, March 14.

It's just that it has not been detailed about the reasons behind the decision to reject the request.

However, the decision was taken based on several considerations. Another LPSK representative, Edwin Partogi, said that one of the things that were taken into consideration was the facts that were revealed from the reconstruction some time ago.

Meanwhile, the reconstruction was held directly at the scene or Green Permata Housing, Pesanggrahan, on Friday, March 10. At least 40 scenes were re-enacted.

"We will consider the facts revealed in the reconstruction," said Edwin.

The perpetrator AG was originally supposed to submit an application to LPSK on February 28. The application was mentioned when his status was still a witness.

Procedurally, LPSK has a maximum deadline of 30 days to decide whether to accept or not the application for protection from the AG.

For information, in the reconstruction of the persecution case against David Ozora, several new facts emerged, especially the role of AG.

The perpetrator of the child turned out to be participating in recording Mario Dandy Satryo's brutal actions when beating David. In fact, AG did not show an attitude of empathy or sympathy.

Because, he did not intervene in this act of persecution. AG actually relaxed smoking when David was asked to repent with his head on the asphalt and hands on the back.
