Funny Moment, When Ganjar Pranowo Tilik Merapi Is In Turmoil
MAGELANG - There was a funny moment when the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo, conducted a review of Krinjing Village, Dukun District, Magelang Regency, Monday, March 13. On the slopes of Mount Merapi, Ganjar met an elderly person who turned out to be his opponent.
It started when Ganjar greeted a number of the elderly in the village who were at the village hall. Two of them are over 80 years old. One of them named Darto and his hearing has decreased.
'Mbah, anake pinten? How many grandchildren?' said Ganjar.
Mbah Darto then mentioned the names of his three children one by one. To Ganjar, Mbah Darto admitted that he already had eight grandchildren. Apparently, one of them was named Ganjar.
"Way to look everywhere, it turns out that my grandfather is here, healthy and sophisticated," said Ganjar.
The atmosphere at the village hall was full of joy. Even though it was difficult to hear, it did not limit the interaction between Ganjar and Mbah Darto. Both of them actually drifted away in talks like grandfather and biological grandchildren.
On that occasion, Ganjar Pranowo asked residents to always be vigilant. Because, until now, mountain activity on the border of Central Java and Yogyakarta DI is still high.
"Those who live here already understand the truth. We just have to keep the community safe," said Ganjar.
During a dialogue with Ganjar, the elderly admitted that they would follow the instructions if one day a bad situation occurred. The former member of the DPR also asked all stakeholders to be responsible for providing information to the public regularly.
"At least in certain levels those who are already well trained provide important information," he said.
Then, Ganjar continued, health problems must also be considered. Especially the elderly. While complaints related to animal feed, Ganjar immediately communicated with the center for assistance.
"Alhamdulillah, from the ministry, it has gone down, the Ministry of Agriculture, I ask that today the results of the data collection be immediately reported to the Director General so that we can get a quick decision. I hope that tomorrow or the day after tomorrow there will be a supply of animal feed," he said.
On the other hand, Ganjar will also find other alternative solutions to overcome the availability of animal feed. According to him, this is important so that people who have livestock are calmer.
"Because if they don't, they will look for some places, sometimes not aware that Merapi's condition will be dangerous, so we try to help," he explained.
Regarding logistical assistance, Ganjar ensured that the automatic supply had run since the first eruption on Saturday, March 11. The logistics includes masks and other emergency needs.
"The masks are divided because if we look at this, thank God the weather is sunny but if later there is wind, carried away, the dust can fly. So people are asked to wear masks, if there are covers like glasses, it's much better. Once again, the important thing is to be vigilant, "said Ganjar Pranowo.
