Check 69 Unnaturalharted Employees, Ministry Of Finance Spokesperson: 27 People Are Priority
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Finance has begun to summon 69 Ministry of Finance employees who are indicated to have unnatural assets.
Spokesperson for the Ministry of Finance, Yustinus Prastowo, revealed that of the 69 people, 55 of them were deemed appropriate to clarify "Currently we prioritize approximately 27 employees," he told the media at the Ministry of Finance Building, Monday, March 13.
He detailed that 10 employees would be summoned until the beginning of this week and the remaining 13 to 15 employees would begin to be examined until next week.
"Our target is high priority or high-risk employees," he added.
He added that the examination of these 27 employees would be carried out in parallel by asking for assistance and information from the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) to track down the financial transactions of these irregular property debt employees.
Yustinus said that the reason the Ministry of Finance prioritized the 27 employees was because they were the highest-risk employees, had the most deviant profiles and had other indications.
"We also have to acknowledge and realize the limitations of the examining personnel who have to check so many other cases, so we prioritize them. We think that we will finish this first, what kind of pattern and model can we find out about the mode and risk so as to make it easier for the next summons," explained Yustinus.
Previously, Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani Indrawati confirmed that she would reveal the results of the investigation of 69 employees with unnatural assets next week.
He said that during this week Inspector General had investigated and summoned all employees who were included in the high risk profile and medium risk.
"So until next week we will complete all additional investigations of all employees who are included in high and medium risk profiles," Sri Mulyani said at a press conference in Jakarta, Saturday, March 11.
Sri Mulyani also reiterated that the data related to the 69 employees was obtained after the Ministry of Finance carried out a number of identifications.
He explained that his party has a system to diagnose its employees to have a high, moderate or low risk profile.
