Attorney General's Office Raises Case Status Of PT GTS To Investigation

JAKARTA - The Attorney General's Office (AGO) has raised the status of the alleged corruption case of the work project for apartments, housing, hotels and the provision of split stones by PT Graha Telkom Sigma (GTS) for the 2017-2018 period, up from investigation to investigation.

"The case is the procurement of fictitious housing, hotels, provision of split stones, in several customer companies that are suspected of being fictitious," said the Director of Investigation at the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus) at the Kuntadi AGO in Jakarta, Monday, March 13, which was confiscated by Antara.

As for the brief position in this case, namely, in 2017-2018, PT GTS made a fictitious cooperation agreement as if there was a construction of apartments, housing, hotels, and the provision of split stones with several customer companies.

"Furthermore, in order to carry out these activities, several elements from PT GTS have falsified documents so that PT GTS issued funds amounting to Rp354,335,416,262," he said.

In handling the PT GTS case, the investigative team examined 38 witnesses and also conducted searches in several places, such as PT Graha Telkom Sigma and PT Sigma Cipta Caraka.

"And the results of our search have only found several important documents related to the handling of the case," said Kuntadi.

On Wednesday, March 8, the AGO through a team of investigating prosecutors at the Jampidsus Investigation Directorate conducted an examination of the President Director (Director) of PT GTS for the 2017-2018 period with the initials TH related to alleged corruption.

In addition to examining TH, the AGO also examined the Director of Operations of PT GTS for the 2016-2018 period with the initials HP and the Manager of Billing PT GTS with the initials OR.

The witness examination was carried out to strengthen the evidence and complete the filing in the case of alleged corruption in the work project of apartments, housing, hotels, and the provision of split stones carried out by PT GTS in 2017-2018.
