KPK Confiscated Dokemen From The Office Of The Cooperative, UMKM Trade, And The BPKAD Batu Service
JAKARTA - The investigation team of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has continued to search several places related to the alleged case of gratification that occurred in the Batu City Government in 2011-2017. This time the KPK searched two places.
"Today, January 11, the KPK Investigative Team will continue to search 2 locations, namely the Trade UMKM Cooperative Office of Batu City and the BPKAD Service of Batu City, East Java," said Acting KPK spokesman for the prosecution Ali Fikri, Jakarta, Monday, January 11.
In this search, the KPK managed to secure a number of documents from the two places. Unfortunately Ali did not specify which documents were secured from the two places.
It's just that, said Ali, the document was confiscated because it was related to a case currently being handled by his party. In due course, the confiscated documents will be made public.
"During the search, a number of documents related to this case were secured. Next, confiscation of these documents will be carried out," said Ali.
Previously, the KPK also searched the Batu Mayor Office and the Batu City Bappeda Office, the Batu City Communication and Information Office, the Batu City Fire Management Office, and the Batu City Investment and Integrated Service Office.
From this search, KPK investigators found and secured a number of documents related to work project activities as well as permit documents for tourist attractions at the Batu City tourism office for the period 2011-2017.
For information, in September 2017, KPK investigators charged the Mayor of Batu, Eddy Rumpoko, in an arrest operation.
In this case, Eddy Rumpoko allegedly received a bribe worth Rp. 500 million related to the capital expenditure project and machinery for procurement of furniture at the City Government of Batu for the 2017 Fiscal Year worth Rp. 5.26 billion.
The KPK named two other suspects in the case, namely the Head of the Batu City Government Procurement Service Unit, Edi Setyawan, and Filipus Djap, who is the Director of PT Dailbana Prima.
