Viral Rhoma Irama Stopped By Deep Purple Crew While Playing Intro Smoke On The Water
JAKARTA - The Deep Purple concert in Solo last weekend still left a story for the audience. One of them, Rhoma Irama's appearance seemed to be stopped by the Deep Purple crew.
This is allegedly because the Dangdut king played Deep Purple's Smoke On The Water guitar riff.
In the video circulating on social media, due to a warning from the band crew from Raja Charles Country, Rhoma Irama seemed to stop his action for a moment and immediately move on to the song.
This news was spread through the red @sweter Twitter account that shared the incident.
"Indonesia was taught how important the value of intellectual property rights was by Deep Purple yesterday..," he said.
However, the boss of Partypora, Kiki Aulia Ucup, denied that Rhoma Irama did not move to another song, but he continued the song.
"Hahaa is not a song change, that's how the Sonnet version:)", said Ucup via Twitter.

If you look at the previous Rhoma Irama concerts, the Dangdut King often played Smoke on the Water intro before performing the song Lust Serakah.
That is, what Kiki Ucup said was correct. Rhoma Irama did not change the song, but continued its appearance. However, the moment coincided with the'reprimand' of Deep Purple crew.
Rhoma Irama himself appeared as a mystery guest star in a concert that brought together two rock legends Deep Purple and God Bless for the second time. Previously, in 1975, these two bands appeared together at GBK.
