KKB Terror Series, Airport Security In Papua Is Tightened

The armed criminal group (KKB) has continued to spread terror on Papua for the past few weeks. Starting from the hostage-taking of Captain Philips Max Mehrtens, the shooting of two civilians and a Trigana Air plane in the Yahukimo area.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that with the series of acts of terror that occurred, security schemes in Papua would be tightened.

The reason is, reflecting on the KKB's terror acts, the airport is often targeted by the separatist group.

"The tightening of surveillance around the airport by TNI-Polri personnel in the region," said Benny.
