Sriwijaya Air Prepares Hotel For Family Of SJ-182 Flight Victims
JAKARTA - Sriwijaya Air President Director Jefferson Irwin Jauwena said that his party has prepared lodging facilities for the families of the plane crash victims with flight code SJ-182. Given, the victims' families did not only come from Jakarta and Pontianak, but also from other provinces.
"We provide lodging facilities at the hotel along with family assistants, and will meet the needs of the victims' families until the SJ-182 passengers are found," he said, in a written statement received by VOI, Monday, January 11.
Meanwhile, the Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi met the victims' families. He said, it turned out that the domicile of victims from SJ-182 came from 24 districts / cities such as Bandung, Central Java, Bangka, and others. Including Jakarta and Pontianak.
Budi said the victim's family hoped to immediately receive confirmation of the condition of their family who were passengers on the Sriwijaya plane. Budi ensured that the government would maximize the search for and handling of the bodies of the Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 victims.
Furthermore, Budi said the government would also provide compensation to the families of the victims. He hopes that the meeting will provide a sense of security and assurance to the families of the victims that they are getting good services.
"I convey to Jasa Raharja and Sriwijaya Air to provide good services, including a request from the victim's family so that the victim can be buried in their respective hometown," said Minister of Transportation Budi.
Budi emphasized that the government would focus on the search and rescue process carried out by the joint team.
"Our efforts are concentrated on finding victims, because the families are waiting for certainty. And also so that further handling, namely the provision of compensation, can be done," he explained.
Meanwhile, Jasa Raharja President Director Budi Raharjo said that his party had contacted and visited 62 families of victims of Sriwijaya Air SJ-182 passengers.
"If the administrative requirements have been met and an official result has been issued from the National Police Hospital regarding the identity of the victim, the compensation will be immediately suspended and given to the victim's heirs," said Budi Raharjo.
For your information, the Head of Basarnas Bagus Puruhito said that the results of the search until today, Monday, January 11, were that they had found 10 body bags containing human remains. Then 10 bags contain pieces or small parts of airplane particles, and 16 sizable pieces of airplane parts, as well as 6 pieces of clothing.
Bagus said, the 18 body bags and 6 pieces of clothing had been submitted to the National Police DVI and were being processed for identification.
Meanwhile, Head of NTSC, Soerjanto Tjahjono, explained that currently the location signals of the two black boxes had been found and had created a triangle boundary to narrow the search area, so that the team would focus on searching for black boxes as a vital tool in conducting further investigations.
