This Is Basboi's Hope And Feel Koplo For The Indonesian Music Industry

JAKARTA - In commemoration of National Music Day, Indonesian rapper Basboi assessed that now the public has increasingly appreciated local musicians and music.

"Indonesia's music is currently progressing very rapidly, which is certain. Yesterday we also had a meeting with labels, looking at market research, now the queue of domestic music is more big than international music at the level of consumption, right," said a musician whose real name is Baskara Rizqullah as quoted by Antara, Monday.

Basboi said the results of a market research study showed that the Indonesian people gave much greater appreciation for the work of local musicians.

Basboi hopes that in the future not only the names of big musicians will receive support. He wants all quality music to be looked at and appreciated.

According to Basboi, infrastructure and support for domestic music still have to be improved.

"In my opinion, those who are supported are not yet music, right, then their image is supported. They watch artists, not watch music," he said.

"I hope that in the future I can love the music more. The appreciation can be more okay, like in the sense of merchandise, releases, and others, sales are more okay, so that the music artist doesn't become a content creator if you want to eat," continued Basboi.

On the other hand, Feel Koplo, which was also found at the 'Connect with the Unexpected Special Performance' event organized by Converse Indonesia at the Kota Kasablanka Mall, also expressed his hope for Indonesian music.

They hope that all music activists and people who are involved in it can get prosperity from music.

"For Indonesian music, I hope that all the actors and all who are involved in it are prosperous. Starting from the stage crew, EO, and all of them to food sellers can live prosperously," said the musician from Bandung.
