Microsoft Adds New Keyboard Shortcut For Word Apps On Windows And Mac

JAKARTA - Microsoft has announced that it is rolling out a newkeyboardzoom shortcut to enlarge and minimize Microsoft Word pages for Windows and Macs as well.

Based on the announcement made by Product Manager at Microsoft Word, Ali Forelli said that the new shortcut was added to increase remote work prevalence.

Currently, more and more users are consuming most of their content on smaller private screens, such as laptops, tablets, or cell phones. With this new shortcut, the Word Product team makes it easier for you to enlarge documents to the right level for your screen," Forelli wrote on the Microsoft 365 Insider blog.

According to Microsoft, many people use Ctrl + / - shortcuts to enlarge and minimize word pages on the web only, but these shortcuts are now available to Microsoft Word on Windows and Mac.

"The Word team has heard about this issue from users, so we updated thekeyboard shortcut in a direct response to this feedback. Accessibility is a priority for Word, and we want to make the zoom experience as smooth as possible," he added.
