He revealed that not all the bodies of the joint SAR team were found to be identified by the families of the victims in Pangkalan Village, Serasan District, Natuna Regency.

Because, he said, the people who were declared missing were allegedly still buried by landslide material with a depth of up to four meters for several days.

The landslide incident on Serasan Island was due to the high intensity of rain in the last few days, so that the slopes of the hills collapsed in Pangkalan Village, Serasan, Natuna, Monday, March 6.

It was recorded that in Natuna, Riau Islands, until Saturday, at 6.00 WIB 36 bodies were found, a body has not been identified and 17 people have been declared missing.

"The condition of the body found by the joint SAR team is no longer intact, because it was buried in the ground for several days," he said.

Danrem 033/Wira Pratama Brigadier General Yudi Yulistianto admitted that although some were still recognized by the victim's family, it was decided to be buried en masse.

His party also admitted that the mass burial had received approval from the community in Pangkalan Village, Serasan, Natuna.

"Not dug up one by one, because one family died. Residents have been spoken to, and they agreed to be buried in several large holes," said Yudi.
