During The Holy Month Of Ramadan, Nightclubs In Bogor Are Asked To Close
BOGOR - Welcoming the Month of Fasting or Ramadan of the Acting Regent of Bogor Iwan Setiawan instructed the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) to close nightclubs (THM) in Bogor Regency.
"I ask all THMs to be closed. I have ordered the Satpol PP to close so that everyone can worship in peace, we also prevent things that are not desirable," said Iwan, Saturday, March 11.
This step is important to take to maintain conduciveness during Ramadan. He wants the community to be calm in carrying out worship during Ramadan.
Iwan admitted that he had assigned the Satpol PP to also check the operational permits for THM in Bogor Regency. This, he said, was to ensure whether or not THM had been operating.
In addition, Iwan asked the Satpol PP to come down to supervise and take firm action if there were THM managers who did not obey the rules.
"Later on, we will also make a circular or official letter. Satpol PP must be firm, impose sanctions on those who are stubborn. It must be recorded again for entertainment venues tonight. If there is no permit, it must be permanently closed," said Iwan.
In addition, Iwan invited all elements of society to participate in maintaining conduciveness ahead of the month of Ramadan.
"I also urge the public not to carry out activities that can be dangerous, which disturb public order. Let's welcome Ramadan in peace," he said.
Previously, Satpol PP officers had given a warning to THM managers in Bogor Regency. This is related to order and peace ahead of the holy month of Ramadan. Moreover, the Cibinong Raya area is often a concern.
"Today we have made an appeal letter to the sub-district heads throughout Bogor Regency regarding the rules during the holy month of Ramadan," said Head of the Bogor Regency Satpol PP, Cecep Imam.
He said the appeal letter included massage parlors, karaoke places related to peace, including traders who are open during the fasting month.
It also relates to order and peace during the holy month of Ramadan.
"Starting today, Satpol PP will raid places of prostitution, THM, massage plus-plus ahead of the holy month of Ramadan," he said.
