JAKARTA - The music video for 'I Can't Stop Me' by K-pop girl group TWICE, managed to reach 200 million views on YouTube on the evening of Sunday, January 10.
This is a new success for the K-pop girl group under the JYP Entertainment agency. Where they got there in 77 days.
Previously, TWICE's video clip entitled 'Likey' which was released in 2017, achieved the same feat in 130 days, reported koreatimes.
'I Can't Stop Me' is the retro-disco title song from the full album titled 'Eyes Wide Open' which was released last year. The song video sensually depicts the nine members of TWICE in conflict between good and evil.
The album 'Eyes Wide Open' was ranked 72nd in the Billboard main album chart in December 2020. Meanwhile, TWICE's newest song, 'Cry For Me', released last month, topped Billboard's global digital sales chart on January 2.
TWICE is a K-pop girl group consisting of members from South Korea, Japan and Taiwan, namely Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun, Chaeyoung and Tzuyu.
Apart from South Korea, TWICE's existence is also recognized in Japan. Where they occupy the third position on the Japanese charts after BTS and British singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran.
