Telegram Love Satire By Dancing Pallbearers For WhatsApp

JAKARTA - WhatsApp's new policy of sharing data with Facebook was insinuated by Telegram CEO Pavel Durov. According to Durov, this step is considered disrespectful of the privacy of its users.

As is known, starting February 8, 2021, users around the world will receive a new WhatsApp policy to agree to share data with Facebook. If not, then the user deletes the WhatsApp account as a consequence.

"Millions of people are angry with WhatsApp's new policy, which now requires users to enter all their personal data into the Facebook ad engine. It is not surprising that many users are switching from WhatsApp to Telegram, which has been going on for several years, getting faster," Durov said in a post on the channel. Telegram, Monday 11 January.

Telegram itself is indeed competing with WhatsApp. In fact, this application already has more than 500 million users who continue to grow.

Durov claims, Facebook cannot compete with Telegram on quality and privacy. So WhatsApp seems to be turning to covert marketing, namely using paid bots in WhatsApp articles on Wikipedia.

"I heard Facebook has a whole department devoted to finding out why Telegram is so popular. Imagine dozens of full-time employees working on that alone. I would happily save Facebook tens of millions of dollars and give away our secrets for free," said Durov.

For information, WhatsApp's parent company, Facebook, starting February 8, 2021, will ask WhatsApp users to agree to share data with Facebook. If not, then the consequence is that the user must immediately delete the WhatsApp account.

It is known that not only did the two fathers of Technology disapprove of WhatsApp's new policy, but users of the instant messaging service also felt disappointed with the rule and threatened to move to other instant messaging services, one of which was Telegram.

This new WhatsApp policy has three main concerns, including how applications process user data, how businesses can use Facebook services to store and manage WhatsApp chats, and later there will be more data that WhatsApp will integrate with other Facebook products.
