AI Technology Is Increasingly Interested, Will It Replace The Role Of Humans?

JAKARTA - The urgency of modernization and digitalization is increasingly being felt. An example that is currently in the spotlight is artificial intelligence (AI), which can help with various activities and work.

Currently, many technology giants have implemented AI capabilities to increase effectiveness and efficiency, as well as minimize the possibility of human error such as Google, Apple, Microsoft, Tesla, to Meta.

According to Yohan Limerta, CTO and Capap Co-Founder, as actors in the EdTech industry, he said his company is very adaptive to various technologies today, including AI technology. However, he argues that this technology cannot replace humans completely.

In essence, every human being has a different point of view, ideology, understanding in receiving information. Humans also have different decisions in determining which is right and wrong. I see this artificial intelligence will be one of the complements that helps in decision making or idea development," said Yohan, in a statement received by VOI in Jakarta.

One of the artificial intelligence that is currently crowded is ChatGPT, from OpenAI. The intelligence offered in the form of chatbots is considered to be able to carry out various tasks ranging from writing various scripts/copywriting (pidato, letters) to translation and proofreading.

However, there have been many questions regarding the truth or validity of the product provided by AI and concerns that later AI products can replace the roles of various professions that are carried out by humans or not.

If you say you feel threatened for now, you haven't. Even though it offers speed, AI seems to remove elements of emotions that are usually filled by a copywriter in every writing produced. In the end, artificial intelligence shouldn't need to be a threat, but it can be used to help a copywriter in the future," said Julian Rinaldi, copywriter at EdTech Capap.

With all the concerns highlighted by users and workers whose duties are closely carried out by AI, it can be concluded that there is still a lot that needs to be developed in terms of technicality and improvement of system functions on the AI side.

However, it has become a fact that, as humans, we should follow the times by continuing to hone ourselves, continue to learn and must not stop upskilling. Thus, the roles and contributions we provide cannot be replaced, even by AI.
