In Blood Devil's Film Invites Spectators To Read The Koran More

JAKARTA - The film Devil Dalam Blood, starring Michelle Joan, Ryaas Randa, Cut Ashifa Al'ar, and Soraya Rasyid, will premiere in theaters starting March 16. The film produced by HELROAD PRODUCTION debuted for director Yannie Sukarya.

"I want to show a film that is close to our everyday stories. It's so attached that without us knowing it, there are demons that penetrate in the blood affecting our attitude," he said.

Inspired by a story that is history by HR. Imam Buchhari, this film tells the story of a demon that can be possessed by humans through blood. To beat the devil, the chanting of the holy verses of the Koran is needed. Therefore, Ryaas Randa was chosen by Yannie because she was captivated by her beautiful voice during the Koran.

"We actually have locked up the main players, but I still want players who can really recite and have a good voice. Finally, we met Ryaas Randa," he explained.

Getting the opportunity to play in a film, this dropout from D'Academy said he was proud. "There is a scene of Ruqyah who needs beautiful and very firm chanting at the time of pronunciation. When he was initially asked to do something a little worried that he would not be able to meet expectations. Thank God it turned out that concern did not happen," said Ryaas.

Cut Ashifa, who has learned to read the Koran since childhood, is very happy to be involved in this film. "Because this is not a film that is just a scare. We are invited to read the Koran a lot, not just read but understand the meaning that the greatest power is, God. We even seek refuge from the Devil by asking for help from Allah," he explained.
