The case of alleged corruption in the iron mine in West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) continues, this is the prosecutor's office investigating the Office of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) of West Nusa Tenggara Province.
Spokesperson for the NTB High Prosecutor's Office, Efrien Saputera, explained that the team carrying out the search of special criminal investigators who handled the iron sand mining case.
"Today's search was carried out by the Pidsus team. This activity is part of the investigator's efforts to complete the investigation file," said Efrien as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, March 9.
In addition to the NTB ESDM office located on Majapahit Street, Mataram City, the Pidsus team also conducted a search in East Lombok Regency.
"So, there are other teams that also carry out joint search activities in East Lombok. If there, they are under the control of the investigation," he said.
For activities at the NTB ESDM Office, the prosecutor team arrived at around 13.40 WITA. The first search activity took place in the mineral and coal section. During this activity, the prosecutor's team was accompanied by two service staff.
The search continued to the second floor of the NTB ESDM Office and investigators immediately went to the office of the head of the office.
During the search in the room, the Head of the NTB ESDM Agency Zainal Abidin was present accompanied by two staff.
Until 14.50 WITA, the search activity by the Pidsus team was still ongoing at the NTB ESDM Office.
From the handling of this case, the Pidsus team had previously examined a number of regional officials, including the Head of the NTB ESDM Service Zainal Abidin, who had undergone two examinations before investigators.
