Smoke And Smoke Still Kissed In The Former Pertamina Plumpang Depot Fire
JAKARTA - Chairman of Commission D of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Ida Maheasy, highlighted the condition of residential areas near the former Pertamina Plumpang Depot fire, North Jakarta. In the area where the electoral district is, Ida found the fact that there was still a fairly strong smell, such as carcasses and smoke. This also resulted in many residents still evacuating shelters. Some have not returned to their homes even though their homes are not badly affected by the fire."Honestly, yesterday I still had the smell of carrion, the smell of extraordinary concept. They also can't cook. Well, this must be considered," said Ida when contacted, Thursday, March 9.Ida urged the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to move quickly to immediately prepare residential facilities for residents affected by the fire. He previously advised the government to relocate residents to Wisma Atlet Pademangan or the Nagrak Flats. However, the option of Wisma Atlet Pademangan as a residence for fire victims requires a long process. This is because the building belongs to the Ministry of State Secretariat. Then, Ida estimates that residents are reluctant to inhabit the Nagrak Flat in Cilingcing, which has further access. Therefore, as a long-term solution, Ida suggested that the DKI Provincial Government build flats in the Yos Sudarso area not far from their original settlement."I propose to the Acting Governor (Heru Budi Harton. We have land in Yos Sudarso. We can build flats in this land, flats with 30 floors and above," said Ida.Meanwhile, the cost of building flats in Yos Sudarso can be taken from corporate social responsibility (CSR) funds collected by the DKI Provincial Government."Where did the budget come from? We ask the CSR pertamina, please, to wake up. Can I or not? Yes, we already have one. We just need to ask Pertamina's CSR to wake up flats that are in their class such as hotels or apartments," he explained. For information, the fire at Pertamina Plumpang Depot hit on Friday, March 3 at 20.11 WIB and resulted in 19 casualties. Pertamina's gasoline pipe fire spread to a residence in Rawabadak Selatan Village, Koja District, North Jakarta. At first, residents smelled strong gas about 30 minutes before the fire broke out.
