The Ministry Of Industry Disburses IDR 140 Billion Funds For Hannover Messe 2023

The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) disbursed funds of up to Rp140 billion for the implementation of the German Hannover Messe 2023, on April 17-21.

This was stated by the Director General of Resilience, Region, and International Industrial Access (KPAII) of the Ministry of Industry Eko SA Cahyanto at the Ministry of Industry Building, Jakarta, Wednesday, March 8.

"So, the budget provided in the DIPA of the Ministry of Industry for the implementation of Hannover Messe as a country partner is budgeted at Rp140 billion," Eko told reporters.

Eko said the budget had been divided into three large groups such as to fulfill contracts with the Organizers of Hannover Messe, Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG), for the construction of Indonesian pavilions, and a number of other series of events.

"So, the budget is a budget given to us out of a total of around Rp. 200 billion that we submitted," he said.

Through the implementation of Hannover Messe 2023, continued Eko, his party wants to show Indonesia's ability to master technology, including the development of the Indonesian manufacturing industry.

"In general, what we hope for in the implementation of Hannover Messe, the world knows about Indonesia, can convince them that Indonesia is the right place to invest, as well as provide legal certainty and convenience for investment entering Indonesia," he said.

For your information, Hannover Messe is the largest industrial exhibition in the world which is held annually in the city of Hannover, Germany. The average number of visitors who attended was 225,000 people and was attended by large companies from around the world.

In the event, Indonesia plans to bring in around 157 exhibitions.
