Kemenparekraf Collaborates With Indra Lesmana To Raise Indonesia's Beauty Through Music

JAKARTA - Kemenparekraf collaborated with musician Indra Lesmana in an effort to raise the natural beauty of Indonesian tourism, especially 5 super priority destinations through a song entitled Citra Nusantara.

The Citra Nusantara song is the work of Indra Lesmana whose lyrics were written by Hon Lesmana in December 2020. This work was then developed into a means of gluing socio-cultural relations, traces of craftsmanship, peace and unity according to the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy program.

Indra Lesmana said that through this song he wanted to raise the natural beauty and diversity of Indonesian culture, especially in 5 super priority destinations.

"This work wants to showcase the collaboration of music and voices from various Indonesian music artists, and an overview of the beautiful scenery of 5 super priority destinations and several other locations in Indonesia along with natural wealth, cultural diversity, harmony and the spirit of community creativity in their work," said Indra. Furthermore, Indra hopes that the Citra Nusantara song can inspire listeners in various situations.

"I want to make this song not only talk about the current pandemic situation, but to make a song that can re-energize as a great nation that we can live now because of the greatness of this nation. Togetherness, mutual cooperation, peace, which we convey. through this song. Then this can become a new force, especially the millennial generation, which I think it has been a long time since I got a song like this, "Indra Lesmana explained.

It is planned that the Citra Nusantara song will be worked on by involving many Indonesian musicians to provide vocals to the accompanying orchestra.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, Sandiaga Salahuddin Uno, welcomed this musical work by Indra Lesmana. His party will provide support for the success of the song.

"I basically will all out support and friends. We will find out how we can make this happen sooner because we are more concerned about COVID-19. And we want activities to arouse the enthusiasm of the creative economy and tourism," said Sandiaga Uno.

Sandiaga suggested using influencers in marketing the Citra Nusantara song. So that the song can be accepted by the wider community and worldwide.

"Finally, like it or not, this success, if possible, we can get commitment from Mr. Jokowi and some colleagues in the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet. Or public figures who have millions of social media supporters, both local and international, Mr. Jokowi, one of them, is Raffi Ahmad, maybe Atta Halilintar. and so on, which we can also join, so that we can get the most out of it, "said Sandiaga.

Sandiaga also suggested that a competition be made for the community in each of the 5 super priority destinations to participate in the song project. It is intended that the song can be closer to the community in 5 super priority destinations.

"However, if you may have additional suggestions, involve the community, especially Insta Jam. So those who participate in each of the 5 super priority destinations and throughout the archipelago are all competing to create lasting. So there is a kind of competition, there is a curation starting from the tourism village level and at the national level.
